The wooden building, built in the 1970s, has a vibrant and rich history of being used for representation by top management in industry and politics.

Ruusuniemi offers an inspiring environment for meetings and celebrations. The venue is easily accessible by car or by sea, and our kitchen prepares high-quality catering from breakfast to lunch and dinner on request. Ruusuniemi also has a superb selection of wines and other drinks for different occasions.
Our stylish, private setting is suitable for many purposes: you can organise representative meeting days, client events and kick-offs or joyful celebrations from Christmas parties to summer parties, crayfish parties and weddings.

FACILITIES
Ballroom
The ballroom can accommodate up to 72 people for dinner. The space is also ideal as a setting for larger meetings.
Workspace
The workspace is well suited for more relaxed planning work for meetings of up to 30 people. By changing the chair arrangement and utilising the other spaces in the building, up to 55 people can be accommodated.
Sauna and pool area
The impressive sauna and pool area, with its 70s-inspired style, invites you to relax with gentle heat and refreshing swims. Our sauna and pool area is fully equipped with high-quality washing products and towels.

HISTORY
Ruusuniemi representative villa was designed by architect Keijo Petäjä. It was built in 1974 for Valmet's meeting and representative use. In 1984, the building was expanded with a magnificent sauna and swimming pool area, which was designed in collaboration with Keijo Petäjä's son, architect Juha Petäjä. The extension reflects the villa's original architecture and respects the atmosphere.
Over the decades, top management from both industry and international politics have enjoyed their time at Ruusuniemi. Ruusuniemi was transferred from Valmet to Wärtsilä's ownership in 1986, after which it has served, for example, as the venue for the engineering company Metso's meeting and training events.
In recent years, Ruusuniemi has been a popular, service-oriented and high-quality meeting and celebration venue that meets the needs of today's demanding customers.

Ruusuniemi is located at the tip of the peninsula in Vuosaari, Helsinki, about a 20-minute drive from the center of Helsinki or about an hour's boat ride from the Market Square. There is plenty of parking around the building and a private pier for those arriving by boat.
